Routine Maintenance of Metallographic Microscope

To ensure the service life and reliability of Metallographic Microscope, pls pay attention to the following:

1. Laboratory should have three anti-conditions: Earthquake (away from the source), moisture (using air conditioners, dryers), dust (ground floor); Power: 220V + -10%, 50HZ Temperature: 0 degrees -40 degrees.

2. Be careful not to focus the objective lens encountered when the sample, so as not to scratch the objective lens.

3. Do not switch the objective lens when the position of the center of the circular hole of the stage gasket is away from the center of the objective lens to avoid scratching the objective lens.

4. Brightness adjustment should not suddenly big suddenly small, do not be too bright, affecting the service life of light bulbs, but also damage vision.

5. All (function) switch, action should be light, to be in place.

6. Turn off the brightness to a minimum.

7. Non-professionals do not adjust the lighting system (filament position lamp), so as not to affect the imaging quality.

8. Replace the halogen lamp should pay attention to high temperature, so as to avoid burns; be careful not to directly touch the halogen glass body.

9. Shutdown when not in use, the objective lens through the focusing mechanism to adjust to the lowest state.

10. Do not shut down when not used, do not immediately cover the dust cover, to be cooled and then cover, pay attention to fire.

11. Non-professionals do not try to rub the lens and other optical components. The eyepiece can be swabbed with a cotton swab dipped in a 1: 1 ratio (anhydrous alcohol: ether) and dried. Do not use any other liquids to avoid damaging the eyepiece.
