The Auxiliary Gas Pressure Improves The Cutting Quality of Laser Cutting Machine
When the laser cutting machine are cutting, the auxiliary gas can play a role in heat dissipation, flame retardant or combustion and blown away, so as to get a better cutting effect. The higher the pressure, the higher the purity of the gas, the less the residue of the material, the smoother the cutting.
Different types of gas has different cutting speed and effect. In general, the oxygen cutting speed is the fastest, nitrogen has the best cutting effect, air cutting costs is the lowest.
Increasing the air pressure of the auxiliary gas can increase the cutting speed of the laser cutting machine. However, when the air pressure reach a certain value, the laser cutting speed becomes slow. Therefore, in the use of auxiliary gas for cutting, we should pay attention to control the auxiliary gas pressure, to avoid cutting speed affecting the cutting effect.
