How to Choose The Laser Cutting Machine Nozzle?

The laser cutting machine nozzle is the auxiliary gas nozzle, can effectively use the high pressure sprayed gas to prevent fissures and other debris bounce, and thus protect the focusing lens, and it can control the gas diffusion area and size, which directly affect the laser cutting machine cutting quality. At the same time,  the nozzle aperture size is different according to the thickness of the cutting material.

1.First, cut the sheet (thickness below 3mm). Choose Φ1mm aperture nozzle will be better, and select the Φ1.5mm aperture nozzle will be relatively thick, which may lead to corner of the place fused.

2.cutting thick plate( thickness above 3mm), The Φ1mm aperture nozzle is not stable when used. Because the cutting power is relatively high, the relative heat dissipation time is long, the cutting time is also the relative long, so it is not particularly stable, but basically still can be used. And choose Φ1.5mm aperture nozzle, the gas diffusion area is large, gas flow rate is slow, so the cutting effect will be better.

3.When cutting sheet that thickness is more 10 mm, nozzles having a diameter of 2 mm or more are generally selected. However, due to the larger diameter of the nozzle, the protection of the focus mirror is less.
